In today’s Parliament session, Narendra Modi addressed the nation on the ongoing US-Iran War, making India’s position clear while focusing on practical concerns like fuel supply and the safety of Indians abroad.
PM Modi said that the current global situation is serious, especially because it is affecting oil and gas supplies worldwide. He made it clear that the government’s first priority is to handle any possible LPG crisis within the country so that common people do not face difficulties in their daily lives.
He also shared that India is actively working to increase its fuel imports. Earlier, India depended on around 27 countries, but now efforts are being made to expand this number to nearly 41 countries. According to him, this step is important to ensure that there is no shortage of LPG and fuel in the coming days.
Another key point of his speech was the safety of Indians living in Iran and other Gulf countries. PM Modi assured that the government is closely monitoring the situation and is fully prepared to take necessary steps if conditions worsen.
While explaining the seriousness of the situation, he compared the crisis to the COVID-19 Pandemic. He said that just like India managed to survive and fight during COVID-19, the country must be ready again if the war continues for a long time.
Overall, the Prime Minister’s message was clear India is preparing in advance. The focus is on avoiding panic, securing essential supplies, and keeping citizens safe during uncertain global times.
