Government Responds to LPG Shortage Concerns in Parliament

     The government on Thursday addressed concerns over an alleged LPG gas shortage and fuel supply crisis during the ongoing Parliament session. Responding to the issue, Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri clarified that there is no major shortage of LPG in the country and assured that the situation will stabilize within the next two to three days.

Minister Assures Supply Will Normalize
    Speaking in Parliament, the minister explained that temporary disruptions in supply were reported in some regions due to logistical challenges. However, he emphasized that oil marketing companies are actively working to ensure smooth distribution of LPG cylinders and fuel across the country. According to Puri, the government is closely monitoring the situation and necessary steps have already been taken to resolve delays.

PM Modi Warns Against Panic
    Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reacted to the issue and cautioned against spreading misinformation that could create panic among citizens. He stated that some individuals or groups are trying to exaggerate the situation and urged people not to believe rumors circulating about fuel shortages.

Reports of Delays in Some Areas
   Over the past few days, reports from several regions suggested delays in LPG cylinder deliveries and concerns about fuel availability. However, government officials maintain that these disruptions are temporary and that the supply chain remains stable.

Citizens Urged Not to Panic Buy
  Authorities have appealed to citizens not to panic-buy LPG cylinders or fuel, assuring that sufficient stock is available. Officials said the government is continuously monitoring the situation and expects normal supply conditions to be restored within a few days.
