BJP Bengal Manifesto 2026: ₹3000 for Women, UCC in 6 Months, ₹1500 Aid for Unemployed Youth
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has rolled out its manifesto for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly Election, placing a strong emphasis on direct financial support, governance reforms, and long-term development goals.
At the centre of its outreach is a promise of ₹3,000 per month for women. The party has pitched this as a step towards easing household financial pressure and giving women greater economic stability in their daily lives.
Another headline promise is the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) within six months of forming the government. The BJP says this will ensure equal laws for all citizens, though the proposal is expected to remain politically and socially debated.
Taking a firm stance on illegal immigration, the manifesto proposes a “detect, delete and deport” approach for alleged infiltrators. The party argues that unchecked infiltration affects jobs, resources, and internal security, making this a key election issue.
The BJP has also tried to address rising concerns around unemployment. It has announced a monthly assistance of ₹1,500 for unemployed youth between 21 and 41 years of age. While this is positioned as immediate relief, the party has also spoken about boosting industries and investments to generate jobs in the long run.
Beyond these major announcements, the manifesto touches on improving healthcare services, strengthening the agricultural sector, and expanding employment opportunities. It promises better hospital infrastructure, farmer-focused schemes, and efforts to attract businesses into the state.
Overall, the BJP’s manifesto reflects a strategy that blends welfare benefits with structural changes, as it looks to widen its support base and mount a serious challenge in West Bengal’s political landscape.
